Service Designer + Researcher

As service designer I turn research into insights, and insights into actionable products, processes and services. Slightly workaholic, but can you blame me? I'm passionate about understanding what drives people and businesses.

Tea-lover, and somehow vegetarian.

HUMAN CENTERED DESIGN

The secret behind design thinking is understanding human behavior; motivations, hopes and whims, as well as frustrations, fears and weaknesses. Driven by these learnings, processes, products and services can be designed for people who will actually use (and enjoy) them (not suffer them).

SYSTEM THINKING

Every challenge (strategic or tactic) requires the proper understanding of the system in which any solution might be implemented. Seeing the whole picture, but understanding each piece, with the forces and variables at stake, has never been so paramount.

Strategic Technology

In this digital and technology-driven era, it is easy to get lost in a purposeless effort for transformation instead of understanding how technology can be used strategically as a means, not an end. The fast paced, changing environment where services and products now live needs resilience and flexibility more than digitalization.

TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE by Design

Every design solution will affect a system in matters of PEOPLE, PROFIT and PLANET (sometimes referred as PLACE). The balance among these three has the power of understanding feasibility, viability, desirability, and sustainability in its broader sense (not just environmentally friendly but actually sustainable in the long run).
